Three javelinas were found on the fourth floor of a building under construction in Fountain Hills, Arizona, Fox10 reported.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department said the trio let themselves into the building and made their way up three floors before being found.
Construction staff contacted wildlife officials after the discovery, who then came in and tranquilized the mammals.
The javelinas were transported to the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center where they will be cared for before being reintroduced back to the wild, according to officials.
Javelinas are medium-sized hoofed mammals that look similar to a wild boar and can be found in the deserts of Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico.
